Let's get to it, for us fishing is a lifestyle- which we love to live for. We have gone for a change up; we've been faithfully fishing Saguaro Lake more often lately. It's a breathtaking lake, with lots of great fishing. It seems with the summer finally drawing to an end, the morning bite is starting to turn up the heat. At least we have experienced this lately, luckily. Labor Day weekend, we hit the lake and enjoyed ourselves very much. Justin and I probably got on the water about 6:30am, and starting getting on fish around 7:15am. We consistently caught Largemouth bass from shallow wall structure and flats that eventually dropped off to about 60 foot of water. It seems they were swimming from the flats down, possibly chasing bait fish. It was about 7:30ish when Justin reeled in the first catch, a decent Bass about 2.5lbs, it always makes me the happiest when I see Justin catching fish with our lures. His smile lights up my entire heart, and that in a fishing trip makes everything worthwhile. :) After that, Justin caught a few more bass that were dinks and then all of the sudden "BAM" My man yells "FISH ON BABY!" So here goes the drill, I frantically grab the net and try to get that bass in quick before it slips away. It's always nerve racking for any net man, because if you lose that fisherman's catch- it surely spoils his excitement! So there we are, Justin's Kumara is stripping line, and bent over all the way- we immediately knew this was a toad! Justin fights and a fight, the fish is feisty son of gun. "Splash" are all we hear and then we see this giant large-mouth looking to be a for sure 10lbs jumping from the water! Oh what a sight that is, I wish I could have got it on video! Finally the fish get close enough to the boat, and I net the fish! "WHAMMMY and YES YES YES!" Justin cheers! There we have it; Justin's caught a beautiful fat large mouth. All in all, we snapped a lot of photos- weighed the girl, which came out to 8lbs.  I congratulated my amazing husband, and couldn't have been more proud of his angling skills. It's not easy to catch such a big large mouth, it's actually quite difficult. Some people spend years going after that hog, and luckily Justin retrieved that beauty and couldn't have been more thankful! We were so excited, it's clear Wren Lures always deliver "The Reaction You've Been Waiting For!" After Justin's hog, we managed to pull a few more fish to the boat, the both of us. Enjoyed the beautiful stemming summer air, and fished our hearts out. All the fish we catch, we release back into the water.

We strive on taking good care of the fish we catch and preach for all to put bass back into the lake. This way they can grow bigger, and be another catch of the lifetime for other Arizona Anglers. We also like to pick up waste any time around the lakes and rivers of Arizona. It's important to preserve nature and help the environment grow and evolve for future generations to come, please help us and don't trash Arizona!
Can you tell us about any fishing trophies you've caught this summer? Any Wren Catches?
