So it's been a while, and it's time to catch you up. Things have gotten so crazy, and amazing all at the same time. Cactus Wren has had a few great fishing events, and the holidays are here filling all of us full of cheer! : ) Has anyone been fishing lately? Any stories to brag about? Winter has finally seemed to come out in a full bang- it's been so cold lately for Mesa Arizona. As we all are familiar the Bass are going real deep for winter. It seems it's been tough to get on a bite as these fish are moving slower and deep. What's everyone fishing? The Wren's winter go to are usually always... Drop shot, some gold or silver spoons, maybe event a Carolina rig with some CW Ridgwalkers or some CW Roadrunners; which are some of our newest baits.. The Wrens have had a lot of their sleeves. Since our last blog- we had put on our very 1st Cactus Wren Fishing Friendly Tournament at Canyon Lake in September, what a great turn out that was! After that, we hosted our next event at Saguaro Lake, Butcher Jones in October and again another great event, Thanks to everyone who came! We are SO thankful for everyone who has came out or continues to support Cactus Wren Outdoors. :)
